Female Ascent is not intended to replace your ongoing leadership L&D program. It comes as a reinforcement to engage and prepare the promising women committing to a leadership career.

This is why mentoring and networking between women are at the heart of this program.

Ready to deploy

The training modules and assignements, as well as the mentoring and networking processes are entirely developed, ready to run.

We recommend to start a pilot program with less than 18 pairs , thus 18 mentors and 18 mentees. In an uncertain environment, running experiments has proven to be a faster, efficient and cheaper way to initiate complex transformations.

Easy to adapt


We can collaborate to adapt some modules to meet specific requests.

To make it a great fit, we encourage internal experts to become role model or trainers, so the reality of your culture lives into the programme.

Volunteers only

We favor intentionality. That´s why participants to the program have to volunteer and send a written candidacy.


In a research I did as a HR director, 70% of women claimed they wanted more leadership opportunities. Though, it was not happening. Female Ascent program is built to grow women self-confidence and self-care, to formulate a career intention and to define a course of action to get there.

Thorough selection and matching

The selection team will review all the applications, discuss them with their direct management, and invite to an interview the candidates that are a great fit.

Mentoring Pairs

Mentoring is at the core of Female Ascent. it allows us to develop 2 specific journeys simultaneously:

This uncharted communication channel benefits all participants: leaders stay close to work reality and learn to influence positively while talents are inspired, supported and pushed to deliver their best.

Mentoring is also a low cost approach compared to other leadership development inititatives.

9 month to anchor new behaviors

Learning is a process. It combines theory, practice, reflexion and adaptation. Whatever the order. That´s why clarifying one´s leadership intention and developing adapted attitudes and behaviors takes time.

By keeping participants focused on developing their leadership abilities and intentions, we get results.

Learn on the job, not in theory

You can understand leadership principles in books but you need to apply them in the field and see what works for you, see how to stay authentic and in balance, so you find your natural style and enjoy the work. Female Ascent is a safe though challenging place where women have regular assignments to learn from with the help of their mentor and supportive network.

Practical Leadership skills

Our pre-program research uncovered 9 skills women want to learn the most, some related to gender specific challenges affecting them in their leadership journey.
